My Favorite Chicken Salad

The thing I really love about chicken salad is that it’s a dish that really gives you the freedom to make it your own. There are so many delicious ways to make chicken salad, but my absolute favorite version is with pickles and onions. This is the way my mom has always made it.

For this recipe I used slow cooked shredded chicken but rotisserie chicken also works well. It even taste great with canned chicken!

My Favorite Chicken Salad

Ingredients
  

  • 3 cups of shredded chicken
  • 1 cup mayo
  • 3 dill pickle spears, diced
  • 1/2 cup of raw white onion, diced
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Add chicken and mayo to a bowl and mix together until every piece of chicken is coated with mayo.
  • Add pickles and pickles and onions to chicken and mix gently.
  • Add salt and pepper to taste.
  • Refrigerate until ready to serve.
