I am someone who loves sour cream, so when I do elimination diets like the Whole30, I miss it so much. This Paleo Avocado Crema really gives me the creaminess I desire and crave. I eat it with taco salads, with chicken, with vegetables, potatoes, pretty much anything that is eatable!
And don’t tell anyone…..but……I think it’s even better than sour cream!
Paleo Avocado Crema
Ingredients
- 1 lb raw whole cashews
- 2 ripe avocados, halved, seeded, and peeled
- 4 garlic cloves
- 1 cup of cilantro
- Juice from two limes
Instructions
- Add cashews to a bowl, cover with water, and soak for at least four hours.
- Once cashews are soft, add to a blender and reserve the soaking liquid for blending. Blend cashews until smooth adding soaking liquid as needed.
- Next, add avocado, cilantro, and lime juice. Blend until combined and use for everything!!
